I understand the premise but the practice is not consistent with actually changing behaviour. If nothing constructive happens then surely a student sat on their own magically reflecting is a waste of time? The system has so far dictated that this strategy should be visible. I believe mainly due to the fact schools have no other option. This is sad 😔 and won't change behaviour or attitudes to learning. #detentions #schools #specialedteacher #teacherlife
