More details on the long term Camber Sands cleanup below… 👇 In the short term we’re going to be using the Nurdle machine to remove the pollution from the entire strandline of the beach. Simultaneously, 25 people hired by Southern Water are using the screens to methodically cover the entire beach. We’ve covered about a third of it now and we’re going to keep going until the machines are ready. The medium term approach is to build 3 more Nurdle machines ( the original Noo Noo) to be here for 2 we

Wow! What a first day. We went absolutely hell for leather all day clearing Watergate Bay. The nano plastic pollution down here is shocking and through our techniques, we can gather it all as well as the microplastics 😊 the vacuum is the right power just to prise the plastic from the sand and separate it out!
