The 1933 Bugatti Type 55 Super Sport was able to stretch its legs this week on the open road. The Type 55 was effectively a grand prix car that you could drive on the street. Its 2.3 liter supercharged twin-cam engine and chassis were a combination derived from two of Bugatti’s contemporary grand prix racers.
