The next two weekends were supposed to be Jonathan Thrush’s bell lap. All of his training, four years of steady progress, were going to peak at the District 3 and PIAA Track and Field championships.
The remaining "streakers" are determined to reach the race's 50th anniversary in 2027. The 2026 Gate River Run begins March 7, with the "streakers" starting at 7:50 a.m., ahead of the main pack.
